This website is not the official website of the Emory Women's Soccer team. It is a website created to reflect on my personal experiences and knowledge about the Emory Women's Soccer team. This site contains information about the team as well as personal stories about the season. This was my first year on the team and my first attempt at cataloging a community. I am a freshman and first year member of the Emory Women's Soccer team and I hope that you, my website surfer, will find my stories and facts interesting. I also hope that this website gives you an insight into the Emory Women's Soccer team and the many sides one community can have depending on the participant.
On this website you can find an introduction to the website on the Home Page. Followed by stories and personal posts with weekly reflections about the Emory team on the page above titled Community Logs. Under the Ethos Project page, there is a narrative about my beginning interactions with the team. This page also includes a slideshow with pictures of the team during practices and games. The next page, Artifacts Project, explains the importance of different artifacts for the team. The artifact the narrative focuses on is the soccer field. There is also a video with interviews from other community members discussing the team and soccer field that can be found on the Artifacts Project page. Under the more tab, the page titled The "Egghead Eight" includes a narrative about the league the team is involved in and my experiences with that league. Finally, the last page, Reflection, is my personal final reflection about my experiences with my class, English 101, and my community, The Emory Women's Soccer team.
